I immerse myself in the landscape to paint what surrounds me, without having any preconceived idea of the image to come.
This oil on paper was made in the tropical rainforest of Mare-Longue, on the island of Réunion. This natural reserve contains many woods of color as well as endemic species of the island.
Claire Chauvel was born in 1986. She lives and works inthe east of France.
