Natacha IVANOVA

Natacha Ivanova was born in 1975 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. She lives and works in Berlin, Germany. She studied at the National School of Fine Arts V.l. Loganzon in St. Petersburg and was graduated from L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2000, under the mentorship of Prof. J.M. Alberola. Her works have been shown in many group and individual exhibitions in Paris, London, New York, and Brussels.

She got the 1st Price of painting Antoine Marin in 2007 in Paris, and the 1st Price of painting Dumas-Miller, at the Academie des Beaux Arts de Paris in 2006.

In addition to oil painting, Natacha Ivanova’s artistic endeavors have been focusing on objects. Her art is influenced by the writings of C.G. Jung, the philosophy of the collective mind, and the meaning of the subconscious. She combines historical, mythological tales with personal memories, creating a new consciousness of reality in contemporary life.
